Plastic and reconstructive surgery

Surgery performed with the intention of repairing or restoring body parts to look normal or improving the appearance of a body part is referred to as plastic, therapeutic, and reconstructive surgery. These operations require very particular techniques. Plastic surgery is frequently used to address birth defects and to eliminate skin flaws like warts, acne scars, or pigmentations. Reconstructive surgical operations are carried out to improve the patient's appearance or make him or her look younger. Reconstructive surgery is performed to reconnect body parts severed in accidents or fights, to repair body skin tears caused by massive bites, or to reconstruct patient body parts lost during delivery or removed during surgery.
